The show must go on…

July 25, 2008

We received an unexpected and very sad message from Marcel Cairo yesterday. His Mother passed away suddenly in the early morning hours and he obviously must be with his family at this time. Please join us in sending our thoughts and prayers for Marcel and his family during this very tragic time.

We will reserve any future show date for Marcel to join us on Eve-101 when he is ready and able to do so. He is an incredible man who has in a very short time made a tremendous difference in our lives. We love and adore him and hope that he and his family are able to find a bit of comfort with each other and in the memories of their Mother.

NOW…the show must go on! So here we go kids…

Eve, how do I convince a woman to let her garden grow?

Curiously,
The Bush Viper

The Arbor

She dreamt of creating a place where peace and silence would reign. A quiet retreat where the sun would shine on her face and the wind would blow through her hair. Years of diligent landscaping would provide the tranquil backdrop for her sanctuary; surrounded by pine trees, honeysuckle, dandelion fields and rolling hills she selected the ideal plot for The Arbor.

Sail Away

July 21, 2008

Fear is a loud-mouthed, assertive emotion. It crowds in, pushing everything else out, sucking up all your attention and energy like a vacuum.

For a long time I have been involved in a committed relationship with fear. And as needy as fear was, it really didn’t allow me time for much else. I recognized the problem some time ago, but old habits are difficult to break. Fear had held my reins for so long that I wasn’t sure how to take them back…or if I would even know how to drive this train if I DID take them back.
