First off, I would never turn down sex for Wii. My grooming, etc. definitely does not suffer from it either. I do love my Wii however, and maybe this lady needs to play some Wii herself. While my cleanliness doesn’t suffer and I would turn it off in a second to get laid, I still don’t get laid so I probably have nothing of any real value to offer here.

I’ll have to read on but any male who spends more time with a game of any sort than a beautiful good loving woman has more deep problems than “playing”. The Wii distarction is the tip of the ice berg. It sounds harsh and cold but…this boy doesn’t value her reality or her. Its her fault too for falling for someone who is only attractie on the surface. Her friends should advise her to reach for something deeper and at the very least postpone the big day for 6 or 8 months..if not shes risking misery, possible divorce and inevietable infidelity. Her alarm is correct. He’s f*ing a game right now instead of her. He feels she isnt going anywhere and he can just be a selfish boy. Shes not doing him any favors as far as encouraging growth. If threats and a break won’t do it then she should walk. If shes your friend then you know…she deserves so much more than what shes settling for… no matter how pretty or charming he may appear. The little fool isn’t worth it. Tricks are for kids.
Real men have only two thoughts. “I can’t wait to get off work and walk through that door to see her” and, “I love waking up to see her eyes each day.” This was true 35, 000 years ago and its still true to day. If this gent is addicted to the game its only to evade dealing with his true inner reality. The best thing he could do would be to run off with the other apes, live desperately for a time and figure himself out. The best thing she could do would be to just be alone and ask her heart what it really wants in a partner for life.

…seek relationship counseling or let it go…move on…anyone that obsessed with video games is never gonna be present enough to maintain a real relationship with the outside world and has chosen, for whatever reason, to regress and give up part of what makes them present for others and themselves…i know i am being judgemental, but i think that video games are, well, wasteful and if you are not getting the message that your time is being wasted by this person before you make a lifelong commitment(at least in theory) then you might want to see what you got going on that attracts you to such a disconnected person…or just taser him while he is ignoring you with the game…that might be fun for the whole family, and not just his selfish ass…
