Double Your Pleasure - Double Your Fun!

It’s Friday, you guys know what that means…Roundtable Time! First on the Eve-agenda; we have a show tonight!

This Week on Eve-101: Friday August 8th:

Pajama Shenanigans!

This week we present to you a panel of egos so tremendous…we just aren’t sure how we are going to fit them in the teeny tiny stream studio. Tis an Eve-101 pajama party, with comedic geniuses and internet superstars Rev. Mitcz and Bad Ass Frank. What we have planned is a battle of the sexes royale, in which we will leave no sex, dating or relationship question untainted by this quartet of filthy minds. There shall be a special co-ed version of Ask Eve and there will of course be a Five Spot in which Trista talks about the people you wouldn’t want to come after in your relationships. Then comes the return of Ever Wonder, and a grand finale Oh Adam / Eve of Destruction competition in which the audience must decide whether the men or the women have the more horrific sexcapade stories. Plus there is sure to be surprises a plenty in this group, so join us!

Now this is your chance, to ask us any old sex, dating, relationship question you want. Otherwise we may spend the entire evening making these guys talk about my favorite topic (masturbation) and Karri’s (her dog). And you will only have yourselves to blame…if you don’t immediately put your fingers to keyboard and give us some questions. We want this live He Said / She Said to get rowdy…help us make it happen.

Next on the agenda, our Cafe Press store. In case you didn’t see, Karri has made some new merchandise and the prices have been slashed, so come on in and get yourself something nice…while supporting your favorite bloggers!

Love F'd Trucker Hat

Love F'd Jersey T

We have an announcement to make too…new faces…new places…but…not yet. Just know that some exciting changes and additions are coming soon with the Eve family, so stay tuned in and with us!

And lastly we leave you with a bit of a riddle…

Whaddaya think about that, kids?

Oooooh…that’s a good question, m’dear. I’m intrigued!
.
For IM’s you can either join in the chat room that will be on the main page at: http://www.thestream.tv or the screen name is TheStreamDotTV (with two Ts) on AOL, Yahoo, MSN and ICQ.
.
We hope to “see” you there!

What, no anal sex convo? I thought anal was your favorite subject, Karri?

Karri said:

I too am sick of you not having speakers on that there computer!
.
Really, anal speak so early? I suppose I may as well get prepared for it, as I suspect it will at some point enter the conversation tonight. YAY for me.

Phoenix and I had an idea for a good question. It’s about breaking up and which gender breaks up more often at the end of a serious relationship. Phoenix noticed that in her past she has been the one to initiate break ups, and I noticed that I am often being the one broken up with.

Note: this doesn’t include short relationships. I’ve broken plenty of those off, we are only talking about serious LTR’s. So, if you feel like tackling this tonight, Phi and me would appreciate it.

Trista said:

What qualifies as a serious LTR?

On 08/8/08 at 8:03 am
Jime said:

Maybe Phi can help contribute to an answer when she logs on. I’d say that the following conditions must be met:
.
1. Exclusivity has been agreed to.
2. There was a shared idea for commitment over a long period of time (plan for a shared future).
3. Serious emotional involvement and intimacy has been given on both sides.
.
I hesitate to offer a time limitation because some of the most intense relationships I’ve had did not last long, perse–but they had the above criteria. Hm, but then I’m not sure if I consider those relationships LTR’s so maybe I need a time requirement. How about…
.
4. A coupling not less that 1 year?

Phoenix said:

I hadn’t thought it out in such concrete terms.
.
It’s just been my observation that when in a committed relationship of some consequence, that it’s usually the woman doing the breaking up/leaving in the final sense. I don’t mean breaking up by default by cheating or something either.
.
I just wondered if a) it’s anyone else’s experience
and b) why this would be so.

Hey - you guys have “The Chart” just like they have on the L Word!!!! Can’t wait for the show tonight!! Pineapple Express is hilarious and a great source of levity for the american college student; too bad I still have to go to class today… at least I made sure I didn’t drink too much last night lol

I really want to see that movie…levity is nice.

Do I even want to know what the chart represented on the L Word?

Karri said:

We have an L Word chart, what?
.
As if it wasn’t already deeply disturbing…

On 08/8/08 at 8:16 am
Trista said:

I don’t find the correlation disturbing…just puzzling.
.
.
Spoiler Alert! KARRI AND TRISTA ARE NOT LESBIANS.

On 08/8/08 at 8:35 am
Phoenix said:

Yeah, but you COULD be bi.
.
Just sayin’.

On 08/8/08 at 8:37 am
Trista said:

True. Are the L Word girls bi? See…I don’t watch.

On 08/8/08 at 8:57 am
Phoenix said:

Honestly, I don’t even know what the “L word” is.
.
Does that make me :
a. Old
b. Uniformed
c. Cheap because I do not have cable
d. All of the above
.
:p

L Word talk going on while I’m in class? Oh, the scandal of it all!

.

As far as the cast goes:

.

Ilene Chaiken (Director) is gay - Mia Kirshner is ‘no orientation’ (like Natalie Portman) - Laurel Holloman is bi-sexual - Jennifer Beals is straight - Katherine Moennig is straight (to the dismay of many fans) - Leisha Hailey is gay (from the yogurt commercials) - Erin Daniels is straight - Pam Grier/ Foxy Love is straight - Daniela Shea is an un-medicated transgender (kinda lives as a male/ it’s complicated)

Trunks Kirshner said:

And I think the old adage about assuming is “when you assume you make an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘me’”

.

That’s the only play I know on the word assuming. Karri and Trista are NOT LESBIANS!! I love the declaration lol

.

Can’t wait for Eve tonight - you should make a poster and put yall’s L Word-esque chart on Eve! I’m curious as to why Sin Magazine is at the top of the chart - did somebody sleep with Sin Magazine?

I thought it was, “When you assume I get to kick “u” in the ass?” That’s the way my mom did it anyway.

Haven’t heard that version yet, but I’ll try and insert it into conversation somehow this weekend at the hooka bar and see how it goes

Brett Farve + New York = I like New York now

Hot-diggety! If you haven’t heard of it that way then…then maybe all those years of therapy were over a misunderstood adage. Wait a second here, next you’re going to tell me the phrase: “Love starts with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a tear” doesn’t involve nipple clamps.
.
Have fun at the hooka bar. ;)

If you turn your head to the right it kinda looks like a printer or a copying machine - the bottom triangle is where you input the print layout and the top part is just that random part you lift up to put your paper in… or take your paper out.

.

I could be wrong - it may be one of those cars that are like ONE YARD LONG and about 4 feet tall - and the upper triangle is the person’s head who got frustrated driving in such a small vehicle that they just busted their head through to save their neck from further discomfort

Now, for another question. Oh wow. I don’t have one. Either that is very satisfying or vey sad… Will try to watch tonight though!
.
And the chart is 6 degrees of Kevin right?? Eventhough I spotted no Bacon.
