The worse part, I described this woman to my child's mother and she KNEW her! She said the two kids had even played together before...what a C.U.Next Tuesday!

It's all just so transparent with this group. Are they aware we can see right through them? Or are they so self involved that they think I look at them as 'having it all'.

Somehow I think they suspect me jealous. I suspect them assholes.

Maybe it's just the way I was raised, but I have absolutely no sympathy for people like that. My family is so working class. We still have BBQs and family get togethers all the time (we had one tonight, actually). I can honestly say that the conversations were never about thread counts (cutting trees and drinking, yes). I hate people who would rather have a perfect public image instead of caring about their family.

Yayyy! Where'd you come from, handsome? My dreams?

It's hard in the sense that I always have my eyes and ears on children. At the grocery store I'm making sure they don't fall out of the cart. When driving I'm looking 2 blocks ahead because some jackass is letting his son run full steam ahead towards the intersection...

There is incredibly high turnover for some. I'm not keen on the revolving door child care. Some people choose to do it, but if you have the resources it isn't the optimal choice as far as I am concerned.

I have managed to work with parents that appreciate that I have a vested interest in their family...even after I'm no longer working for them, I am a part of their lives.

Hi again, handsome :)

I couldn't imagine how difficult it must be to watch some of the children that you care for be treated like "Ameircan Girl" dolls.

Is it hard to separate yourself when you "clock-out" for the day? Doesn't it weigh down on you over time?

I'm surprised that there's such long tenure shown by some of those posting.

Is there high turn-over in the child-care business?

Curious to understand more...

Just remembered a story where I opened my trap...

I was with a 4 yr old boy in a sprinkler park. He was setting a bucket (not his, just a random bucket) into the stream, letting it fill, running in and then dumping it on his head - good fun right?

A mother snatched the bucket he was playing from the stream and shoved it to her daughter "Go Play!".

Before I speak, my 4yr old was closer and said

"I'm sorry , thats my bucket?"

She bends down and snips right into his face "Did you bring it to the park with you!??"

"Excuse me! Did you bring it to the park with YOU?", say I. To which she walked over to her 4 twat monster friends and ignored me.

I took the high road, simply found him another bucket (because there are like 10 lying around, whore!). A few minutes later, I'm drying him off and he is looking over at the bitch and asks me

"Why did that lady take my bucket?"

To which I responded, at the top of my f-ing lungs,

"She took it because even though she's Really, Really, Really, REALLY OLD...she hasn't learned how to share like you yet!"

They all gasped. We went for ice cream!
